Piano For Sale
Own a piece of Park-McCullough history with this 1927 Bechstein Parlor Grand Piano Model M. Proceeds of sale fund the repairs of our Steinway piano for summer concerts. While we hate to part with the piano, we simply have no need for two pianos.

The instrument was owned by Julian DeGray, who taught at Bennington College in the 1940s and 50s, and then by Jane Hanks, a local anthropologist and musician. Jane gave the instrument to the Park-McCullough House sometime in the 1980s. For many years, the Bechstein served as our concert piano; however, we are no longer using it regularly for concerts and would like to find it a new home.
The sound of the piano is quite sweet, and the case is simply gorgeous. The Model M was introduced during the 1920s, the same size as the Model A it replaced, but with a full 88-note keyboard. It is 5’ 10” in length.
