Responsibility for Event Management at the Park-McCullough Changes Hands

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Many in the community know Jeanne Mintrone, who has spent two years working with couples, clients, and their families, to plan and execute their special events at the Park-McCullough Mansion and Carriage Barn in North Bennington, Vermont. In April, Jeanne accepted a position as Director of Operations at the Better Bennington Corporation. The board is grateful that Jeanne has stayed on board in the interim to oversee some of the events she booked for the 2023 season; her dedication to her clients was heartfelt. Board President Kelly Clarke Harrington comments, "We were so pleased to have benefited from Jeanne's commitment to the Park-McCullough experience. She represented our organization and all we offer our clients with great enthusiasm. The Board of Trustees and Staff wish her the best in her new role."

Replacing Mintrone is Maeve Richmond, acting as Interim Events Manager for the remainder of the 2023 season. Maeve has sprung into action at the Park-McCullough, assimilating new systems and applying her experience as an event producer to the myriad tasks ahead. "Whether public or private, special events at the Park-McCullough require an eye for detail, fantastic customer service, and a passion for our organization's mission. We see each of these traits in spades with Maeve," says Clarke Harrington.

Twenty-five years as a professional in New York has equipped Richmond with a wealth of applicable skills. Nineteen of those years have been spent growing Maeve's Method, a home organization consultancy now with multiple Maeve's Method coaches for both on-site and remote assistance. Entrepreneurship was a natural extension for Richmond, who had accumulated work experience in space planning and interior design, event production, corporate training for networking and conflict resolution & strategy, marketing and content development, and B2B partner relations. Today, Richmond offers clients and colleagues an ensemble of talents curated from each of these adventures. She looks forward to applying this same skill set to the Park-McCullough landscape.

"I was born and raised in Bennington and have always loved my hometown area," Richmond offers. "I am back in the area after 25 years and thrilled to be part of a venture as deeply committed to the community as the Park-McCullough House. The venue is one of a kind. Just walking on the grounds is an experience. I want everyone who comes here, whether for a wedding, a tour, or a signature Park-McCullough event — to feel warm and welcomed as if the Park-McCullough family was here to greet them. It's an honor to step onto this team. I look forward to engaging with the greater Bennington community on events that I hope will foster connection and be worthy of the nature of this historic facility."

The transition in Staffing at the community-centric nonprofit from Jeanne to Maeve offers an opportunity to honor past successes and plan for the exciting seasons of events ahead. The Staff and Board at the Park-McCullough look forward to learning of Jeanne's great new adventures and welcome Maeve with excitement for the next era of public and private events.
