History & Heritage Lunch
#2 of 4 monthly gatherings
12:00 - 1:00 PM
Enjoy a light lunch, refreshments, and an introduction into a new topic within this year’s special exhibition theme: the women of the house and the community and the history and heritage of handwork (think needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, mending, quilting, sewing, and other arts and tasks).
This luncheon will concentrate on the historical significance of the Singer sewing machine. Come ready to learn about the history of the iconic Singer sewing machine as well as other examples of machines that found their homes in the Park-McCullough House. Please feel free to bring your own stories and experiences to share with the group as there will be time allowed for participation and exchange.
Our History & Heritage Lunches are offered free of charge. Location: Carriage Barn. Free onsite parking. RSVPs required, by Monday , July 13, 4 PM.
