Calling all bakers for the 2021 Park McCullough Apple Pie baking contest to be held at the HARVEST FESTIVAL AT PARK MCCULLOUGH, October 23rd
$10 To Register - All Proceeds Benefit Park McCullough Historic Governor’s Mansion
Registration Starts at 5pm at the Park McCullough Playhouse!
The first place winner will be awarded a cash prize of $100.00 plus bragging rights! Other great prizes will also be available for the top three entries.
The rules for the Park McCullough Apple Pie Baking Contest are as follows:
1. Open to any individual amateur or professional baker.
2. One entry per person.
3. Entry must be a pie that includes at least 60% apples in the filling. It does not need to be a “traditional” two-crusted apple pie and it can have a variety of fillings. All ingredients and decorations must be edible and listed in the registration form.
4. The entire pie must be submitted for judging in a food-safe disposable pie pan.
5. The recipe for the pie and pie crust must be submitted with the entry. The recipe must list all the ingredients and quantities.
6. Refrigeration is not available
7. Judging will be based on the following criteria:
