NORTH BENNINGTON — Peter Herdrich, the chief executive officer of the Cultural Capital Group, has joined the board of the Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion, the organization has announced.

Herdrich is a co-founder of The Antiquities Coalition, a leading international NGO, whose mission is to stop the looting and illicit trade in cultural heritage property. With Cultural Capital, he serves as the principal investigator on the cultural preservation technology startup, the Digital Library of the Middle East, working with partners across the Middle East and North Africa. NORTH BENNINGTON — For the first time in 10 years, a historic mansion-museum in town will be opening its doors to the public this holiday season.

The Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion, also known as the Park-McCullough House, is hosting "An Old-Fashioned Christmas" on Saturday. It features a tree lighting, an appearance by Santa and tractor rides within the property.
