NORTH BENNINGTON — Peter Herdrich, the chief executive officer of the Cultural Capital Group, has joined the board of the Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion, the organization has announced.

Herdrich is a co-founder of The Antiquities Coalition, a leading international NGO, whose mission is to stop the looting and illicit trade in cultural heritage property. With Cultural Capital, he serves as the principal investigator on the cultural preservation technology startup, the Digital Library of the Middle East, working with partners across the Middle East and North Africa. NORTH BENNINGTON — The Park-McCullough Historic Governor's Mansion, which will have its COVID-delayed reopening on Friday, July 3, has been called one of the most significant and best-preserved Victorian mansions in New England.

The spirit of Christmas returned to the Park McCullough House in North Bennington for the first time in a decade on Sunday, with musical performances, tractor rides and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. McCullough Free Library, “An Old-Fashioned Christmas at Park-McCullough” offered a free afternoon of holiday entertainment to scores of children — and plenty of adults, too.
